My husband is an ultimate burger lover. We usually try burger chains and once we love the place, we keep on coming back whenever we feel like craving for burgers. We have a list of some of the burger chains to try and one of it is 8 Cuts Burger Blends. As a matter of fact, we’ve been eyeing their branch in Salcedo, Makati for quite some time already. But we both don’t have time.
Last Wednesday, we finally had the chance to try the food chain as the both of us doesn’t have packed food for lunch last Wednesday. Good thing, the branch of 8 Cuts in Salcedo is just in the next building of my office. While my husband’s just 3 streets away from mine.
I find that the area of 8 Cuts in Salcedo compared to that of what we see in their MOA branch. We went there around 12:45 PM for us to avoid the lunch’s rush hour. Lucky enough, we didn’t had a hard time finding a table and seats for the two of us.
The waiter took our orders right away.
There are a variety of burgers to choose from but we opt to Make-Your-Own-Burger choice or “The Boss and the Blends” portion of the menu.
I ordered for Brioche as the bun, all the topping except pickles and The House Blend for the patty. I also asked for Mozzarella cheese just because a burger would seem incomplete to me without cheese. Hihi. I would’ve chosen Kaiser since it is wheat as the waiter said but unfortunately, they no longer serve that bread – according to him. 🙁 and since my choice of bun is said to be tastier than the sesame, so Brioche it is!
Meanwhile, the husband ordered for Sesame as the Bun, all the toppings and The Beef Bomb as the burger patty.
We also ordered Skinned Potato Fries with Sub – atomic Bacon and Cheese! It was served first and since we were already hungry, I forgot to take a picture of it! We immediately dived our fingers to it as it looked tempting to us. Who wouldn’t? Fries, cheese and bacon! Ugh! I love ’em! LOL!
Our burgers arrived around 8-12 mins upon ordering. I think they served it pretty fast. Maybe because there are just a few customers, including us, at the time we had our lunch date. Hihi
Both patties are cooked medium rare to well done. I had the chance to have a taste of the husband’s order – the Beef Bomb – but I find my choice of patty tastier than his choice. The House Blend patty is so juicy and tasty!
We finished our meal with our tummies feeling full and our conscience reminding us, or bugging us perhaps, that we have to burn the fats gained from eating those burgers! Hahaha #whatdiet?
What I like:
- They have friendly staff
- The have fast service
- Tasty patties!
What I don’t like (just a bit!):
- The place is small and a bit dark or dimmed
Overall, it was a good experience. Specially for the husband of course! 8 Cuts Burger Blends is an okay place for me if you feel like eating good burgers and you’re willing to spend a bit more money on it. Sure it is worth it, but if you’re on a budget, just a heads up – 8 Cuts burgers are pricey. 😛 Our total bill was around 700-750 Php, that’s without drinks (because our drinks in the office are free so I get to bring 2 for me and husband lol).
Oh, and if you plan on visiting their Salcedo Village branch, they have a promo until May 31!
So are we going back? Yes because they have good burgers! But not too soon, though. We’re a thrifty family. It’s at least we tried the place and their food just for the sake of trying hihi.
Have you ever gone to an 8 Cuts Burger Blends already? What are your thoughts?
